it's beginning to look a lot like....

our favorite holiday!!!
and while we're actually in production mode for the winter holidays we're really digging some of our neighbor's halloween yard decorations (some of the folks around here go all out!)  We plan on doing our own some year soon but in the mean time our friend Matt has enough Halloween Spirit for all of us

Thanks to everyone who entered and thank you all for your continued support!  They were all AWESOME stories and we got a chuckle or two out of each and every one!!!  It was a hard choice so we just did the random thing....

Here's Candice's entry:

Poor Fangston is the third cousin, thrice removed from Dracula. He is a quiet kind of guy and doesn't understand what all the fuss is about with his cousin. He started his own bakery in Sigishoara Romania, but it soon went bankrupt due to the townfolk continually ordered garlic bread and nothing else. He tried a wood carving company, but again the townfolk only requested steaks. He gave it one last shop in a metal works company, but alas...too many requests for crosses. All Fangston ever wanted is to just earn a few dollars to pay for his daytime maids and their monthy replacements (he gets hungry now and then). He currently resides in New Castle Utah where he enjoys his monthly bookclubs, weekly visits to the local blood bank, and his knitting circle.

PERILOUS PUNKINS!!!

FINALLY got around to getting a few new punkins posted on the etsy shop
just in time for our favorite holiday!!  There are more on the way..as well as more baby squidleighs (with optional ghostie costumes!)

In other, future news....just signed on to do two more shows with the Craft Sabbath folks in December.  Shows will be on the 5th and 12th.  More details soon :)

It's beginning to look a lot like..........

HALLOWEEN!!

The temperature dropped 30 degrees, the leaves are a'changin and we've kicked into high gear here @ Grimmleigh's Labs!

We had a great show @ Craft Sabbath (First Sunday of every month @ NoBrow Coffee & Tea in SLC)

Met some great folks and made some new fans!

Lucky for us there were quite a few folks in the "under 12 bracket" and they LOVE baby squidleighs!






They were definitely the biggest hit, especially with their ghostie and witch hat halloween costumes!!

In the labs we've been working on some creepy guys for halloween and we're brainstorming ideas for the winter holidays as well. Looks like we'll be doing a couple of local shows in December (check back for details/dates)
