Just in time for Mother's Day we're whipping up some Floronic Fiends!  "Demented Daisies" are now available in the etsy shoppe and will be available @ the next Craft Sabbath (That's May 2nd, 12-4 @ nobrow coffee & tea downtown SLC!)  email grimmleighsfiends@yahoo.com if you'd like to do a custom order bouquet for your mom/sister/wife/all of the above.

In other news, Rachel has signed up to be on team Tree Rooter for the upcoming Komen Race for a Cure in SLC.  To help raise funds for finding a cure for the big C.  The race is on May 8th (also coinciding with Mother's Day) and to help w/ the fundraising, we've decided to donate $1 from each "Demented Daisy" sold. 

So, really, think about it.  You could buy her a bouquet that will eventually, wilt and die...OR you can give her a bouquet that will bring a smile EVERY DAY!  just like you do!!!!   aaaaaaaaaaw.  AND you'll get a warm fuzzy knowing that a portion of the proceeds will be going to a great cause!  They come in all colors and each is one-of-a-kind & 100% handmade!!!!! Rainbow Roundup

The local chapter of AA's "gay group" is having a fundraiser for their annual conference...it's the "Rainbow Roundup"!!  Our friend Meg asked if we'd be willing to donate something so here's what we "whipped up"

We had a great time @ the party last night! Geek Show Pod Cast (on which Leigh is a panel member) won for best local podcast and we were honored as Best Horrifying Crafts!!!

Free gin, Good Food (our favorite restaurants Channon Thai and Vertical Diner were there!)  Good Friends, we get a plaque AND we got to meet Dottie and give her her very own Grimmleigh!!!!

Who could have guessed that these twisted little creations could have come from such a happy couple? Rachel Kade teamed her passion for crocheting with the artistic and creative skills of her husband, Leigh George, to create demented-yet-cuddly toys for kids and adults. They make everything from psychotic vegetables to ninja kitties to love-struck zombies, each with its own back story and personality traits. A major hit at Craft Lake City and now a frequent feature of the Craft Sabbath gatherings at Nobrow Coffee & Tea Company, these toys have become a local must-have. And, by the way ... they take requests! 

It hits the streets this afternoon downtown and everywhere else in SL tomorrow!!!  gotta go get some copies for my mom!!!

Thanks to everyone who came out for last weeks Craft Sabbath!  It was AWESOME to be outside and we're really looking forward to the next one on May 2nd!  (just in time for Mother's Day!)
