You may have heard about the little rally that occurred in Washington D.C. yesterday afternoon...
We are long-time fans of the Daily Show & Colbert Report. As a matter of fact, it's where I (Rachel) get 'most' of my news ~ and I (Rachel again) sometimes have little debates in my mind about which of them (Jon & Stephen) I love more....SO...when Cali said her partner/associate/friend(?) was going to wear his Hand-Made Crocheted Zoidberg Mask (that I totally made!) to said rally, I was, needless to say GIDDY!
Imagine my delight when I found these pictures of him @ the rally!
Thank you SO much for the pictures Cali!!! You guys really went all-out with the costume (love the claws!)
And if anyone else out there has pictures of themselves from this Halloween in their Grimmleigh Costume/Caps ~ or of your Halloween Decor featuring anything Grimmleighs please please please share!!!

In Honor of Rachel Starting Weight Watchers Again!!!
There is nothing scarier to a person watching their weight than a scrumptious, delectable morsel that is just screaming "EAT ME"... Especially when that morsel is a possessed pastry escapee of the Grimmleigh's Institute for Zoological Research. These pastries are no fat, chock full of fiber, and might try to eat YOU while you are napping!
Cupcake Crazies are available now in our etsy shop
AND in person @ Frosty Darling (177 East Broadway Salt Lake City, Utah)

WIP Ebil Bunneh Mobile Pics!
Our friend (and second biggest fan) Candice is having a baby! She and her husband wanted a Ebil Bunneh Mobile to commemerate the event, and it seems the baby is perfectly willing to wait until the mobile is finished... Good news, Candice! We're almost done! You can have the baby any time!
Rachel did an amazing job coming up with the baby bunnies... Here are some work in progress pics, we'll post the finished mobile once everything is strung together!

A few questions for you...
Question #1
What's even cuter than an itty bitty Squidleigh??
Answer:
An itty bitty Squidleigh in a Halloween-Costume of course!!!
Question #2
During the Reformation movement of the early Twentieth Century, what practice involving children was finally regulated in the United States?
Answer:
Child Labor
What do these two Questions have to do with one another? you ask...well....
Our 10 year-old Molly is a VERY eager helper and becoming quite the apprentice. Seriously. Her crochet stitches are AMAZING! (and she's a good painter to boot!) And we're not just saying that 'cause she's our daughter...it's been proven - by SCIENCE!
So, when she wanted to help out more, and maybe make a little moolah on the side we decided to give her a go at making hats w/ wigs and ghostie costumes for our itty bitties! And here they are!!!!
They were a big hit at Craft Sabbath last week and they're available now in our etsy shop...and YES she is getting paid!

Art for Pit's Sake
A month or so ago, I (Rachel) organized a kid's craft show (sponsored by Craft Sabbath). I had the pleasure of meeting and working with some AMAZING kids!
One of my new friends is named Lora and this article is about her and her amazing philanthropy. If you love animals and/or kids you won't be able to help being inspired by her!
